Purchased the N35 for my wife and inherited it when she upgraded to an N300.
Works ok with destinator 3 but would like a better vehicle based map/search engine, destinator 7 is available for under £30 so may give that a go.
Works everytime on the internal GPS antenna..........never had a problem.

I am very unhappy, until now all my purchases from Amazon have been good, I believe for both myself and the suppliers. However that is not the case here, as the product does not work and did not from day one. The seller is not returning my emails, despite several polite attempts, the product is a portable product and will not retain memory or work unless attached to a mains supply!!!
I am currently feeling annoyed and conned.

I bought this back in 2005, and it was great at first, I really loved it. The screen is great, the stylus was great, the design was really sleek and stylish, although the GPS function never worked but everything else was great but now the battery doesn't work and I can't work it. I can't take it off the charger, as the battery is so dead. The n35 now has to stay attached to the wall, or not work at all, which is obviously not the point at all. An excellent GPS and PDA, it took us across the USA for 8 weeks in 2006 with no problem. On our return to GB it started to lose power through the recharge plug at the bottom. The fault is the very BAD plug connection. The length is too much for such a small solder job inside. I sent a query to ACER but did not even get a reply, after three more emails, I gave up. Don't buy it until this problem is addressed.

I bought my N35 as a Christmas present to myself in 2007. I admit I bought it second-hand as I was on an extremely tight budget, but it turned up in pristine condition and looked great.
I bought the Acer to basically serve as a satnav device, and it came with tomtom5 software on a sd card. I had to email the previous owner numerous times as the unit wasn't configured properly, this seemed to take me forever to sort but eventually the problems this unit suffers from were apparent.
