If like me you started running a year ago and aspire to go faster, you may have thought about a running watch. I have only owned one of these gizmos and it is the 305. It has been by best purchase for years. This is a must for anyone serious about jogging as a fitness aid. Would reocmmend to a person serious about road running as a help to assess their progress fitness wise.

Great gadget, couldn't run without it now! Started using it for cycling too and it's great at both..
The size doesn't bother me at all - I think it's a price worth paying to have a large and clear screen! And obviously, this is the (almost) the cheapest Garmin you can get (it's definitely worth the extra £15-20 over the 205) and it supports the cadence sensor for anyone who cycles too!

I've been using this bit of kit now for about 6 weeks on a daily bases. It is great! so easy to use. Gps signal very good, i found that i was still getting a signal in the house after 20 minutes. Up loading your data on to the computer is an added bonus.

An invaluable training tool. Easy to set up either on the unit or from the PC based Garmin Training centre. Nice light weight unit and plenty of zones to set with insistent alerts to help you make the most of your run. Highly recommended.
